Thanks for the Comments guys

@ Sara : I agree that our sense of humor is our greatest ally in tough times. There is nothing like a good laugh to center us and bring everything into its true perspective

@ Writer Dad : I work from home too, and you can definitely get a bit of cabin fever if you don't go out and mix with other folks out there.

"The fun loving part of ourselves that makes us who we are, is often the first part to fade when we become overtired." This is absolutely true.

Unfortunately, our sense of humor is the only thing that can really get us through those hard times. I'm absolutely in overwork mode. It's time for some centering.

Hey great post Steve. For everybody else's information, I happen to know that Steve is seriously under the pump work-wise right now so that's where the subject matter came from I would imagine. And Writer Dad, I work from home and have one little 'un and of course a partner and it is very difficult to establish the work/life balance because the boundaries are so blurred. I have actually started from today to count how many hours I work as my partner says I work too much and yet I am quite sure I don't work enough. We will soon see.

When I'm done with work, I give everything I have to my children. This is exhausting, and I need to find a way to have some me time. I work at home, so I'm always there for them, but I just realized that I hadn't left the house in two weeks. If I keep it up, I won't be doing anyone any favors.
