These are great points, Seamus, for working through the problems we face in life. The "have fortitude" one is a big one for me - and one I need to remember when I'm dealing with the struggles that come forth.

Great! I am glad this helped you and wish you all the best getting over that wall!

I am suffering from a Stumble Slap right now for gratuitous self-promo so do me a favour and stumble this for me (I've learned the hard way that it's a no-no with Stumble! Ah well!)

Very nice Seamus. You packed a lot of helpful thoughts into this article. Several of your points are rather timely for me right now. I'm going through something where things would be a lot easier if they played out the way I wanted/thought they would. Instead there is a wall in my way. These walls are there to keep out the people who don't want things in life enough to do what it takes to get over or around them.

So I'm sitting up straight, acting outwardly while remaining still within, gathering the fortitude to see things through, and summoning up my courage to face that wall.

Keyaaaaah!
